Lisa Burch, Director of Student Services

Lisa is a student advocate for all students and an advisor for student government. She coordinates new student orientation, provides career and personal counseling resources, plans campus celebration and educational events, and deals with issues such as emergencies, non-academic student grievances, parking regulations, and student discipline. Lisa also supervises Loveridge Hall and has overall responsibility for the residence life program.

Claudia is responsible for recruiting and retaining students from communities underrepresented in nursing as well as development of student support services and community partnerships. Claudia also plans campus programs that raise cultural awareness and celebrates the beauty of culture.
Janette Vlahos, Housing Manager

Janette manages Loveridge Hall and is responsible for all room assignments and building maintenance requests.
Ken Westhusing, Director of Learning Support Services

Ken helps students develop effective learning techniques, receive the appropriate accommodations for learning disabilities, and refine English as a Second Language skills. He works with students both individually and in small groups. Ken helps students set up a study group, deal with time and stress management issues, receive tutorial assistance, and improve reading, note-taking, and test-taking skills. Ken also oversees the Writing Center as well as teaches numerous sections of Learning Skills and Personal Success Skills courses for nursing students.
