Election Information

The Associated Students of Linfield College – Portland Campus (ASLC-PC) will be holding elections for the offices of the President and Vice-President in March. Elected students will serve their fellow students during the following academic year.

Campaign and Election Information:

All current students who will be enrolled through the Spring 2017 semester and have completed one full term on campus are eligible to run for the offices of President and Vice-President. Interested candidates must submit their name to ASLC-PC Secretary prior to the start of campaigning. Once a candidate's eligibility is verified, they will receive campaign rules and be added to the official ballot list. Duties of the President and Vice-President are linked below.

  • Beginning Spring 2016: eligible candidates may submit their name to the Secretary
  • February 29th - March 6th: Campaign week
  • March 7th - 8th: Election (via e-balloting)
  • March 8th: President-Elect and Vice-President-Elect are announced
  • May 1st: Leadership transition begins

Officer Hiring Information:

2016-17 officer positions are now open for application.  All current students who will be enrolled through the Fall 2016 semester are eligible to apply for Executive Cabinet and Program Board positions. Senate Board candidates must be members of their respective cohorts.

  • February 29th @ Noon in PH 110: Leadership Lunch - learn about all available positions
  • February 29th: Applications for officer positions are available
  • March 28th: Officer applications due
  • March 28th - April 8th: Officer interviews
  • April 11th: Hired officers announced
  • May 1st: Leadership transition begins
