A True Community

The Linfield College - Portland Campus is a true community. Many of our students are recent transfers from our McMinnville campus or other local colleges; others come to their studies with years of working and living experience - women and men, single or married. All share the goal of becoming Health Care professionals.

Many of our students commute to classes from the greater Portland metropolitan area, while others live on campus in our coed residence facility, Loveridge Hall.

We have an extremely active student government on our campus. Student members organize activities ranging from casual outings and campus community gatherings to family friendly activities throughout the year.

Students also hold leadership positions on many of the campus committees and have strong student involvement in campus clubs as well as a chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, an international nursing honor society dedicated to research and scholarship.
