Dr. Bonnie Saucier

Dr. Bonnie Saucier began her nursing career as a pediatric nurse at St. John's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stephen's College (Missouri), as well a Masters of Education degree in vocational education at the University of Missouri (Columbia) and a Masters of Science degree in nursing of children at University of Missouri (Kansas City). In 1984 she completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree at Texas Woman's University, majoring in nursing theory and research.

Bonnie has held many positions of leadership in both healthcare delivery and nursing education. She has contributed to numerous journals and other publications and serves as a reviewer for professional journals. As a member of the Higher Learning Commission, the American Council on Education, and the National League for Nursing Council for Research in Nursing Education, Dr. Saucier is informed and influential on both the local and national levels regarding issues that affect nursing.

In her current roles as dean of Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing and interim director of Linfield College Portland Campus, Bonnie ensures that students receive the best possible preparation to address the needs of 21st century patients and healthcare systems.
