Multicultural Advisory Council (MAC)
The purpose of the Multicultural Advisory Council is to provide consultation regarding culturally relevant curriculum issues, recruitment and retention of underrepresented populations in the School of Nursing, and networking and information exchange.
The Dean chairs the Council. The Council shall consist of the Dean of the School of Nursing, the Associate Dean of the School of Nursing, the Clinical Facilities Administrator, the Nursing Learning Resource Center Director, and faculty members, at least two nursing students, at least two alumni, and at least 10 representatives from various cultural, racial, religious, ethnic, age, gender, sexual orientation, physical and mental ability, and social or economic status constituencies.
