What can you do with a Health Sciences Degree?

The Health Sciences major exposes students to a broad range of disciplines.  It is a degree that spans many careers and offers graduates a broad variety of transferable skills and knowledge sought by health care organizations, graduate schools, and professional schools.  Some students have used this major as a stepping-stone to graduate and professional programs.  Others have gone on to work in a health-related field right after graduation. 

Graduate School

Many of our graduates have completed advanced degrees in fields related to the Health Sciences.  Below is a sample of some of the programs our past and present students are in or have completed:

  • Public Health and Epidemiology
  • Health Administration or Health Management
  • MD, Osteopathic, and Naturopathic medicine, Physician Assistant, Optometry, Dentistry
  • Physical Therapy
  • Graduate programs including Biology or Environmental Science

Employment
