Environmental Health / Public Health

Faculty Advisors: Nancy Broshot and Barbara Van Ness

Along with completion of the Health Sciences major required core courses, students concentrating in Environmental Health take the following courses:

• Introduction to Public and Community Health
• Health and Social Policy
• Human Ecology: Pattern and Process
• Principles of Ecology OR Field Zoology
• Microbiology
• Approved Elective in Environmental Studies, Health Sciences, Biological or Physical Sciences, Anthropology/Sociology, Philosophy or Religion, or Psychology

Students in the Environmental Health concentration may also qualify for a minor in Biology and/or Environmental Studies.
