The Portland financial aid office determines student financial need and eligibility and offers financial aid through a variety of programs. The process begins when students complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Our duty is to determine the types and amounts of grants, loans, and scholarships students may be eligible for. If you are a students seeking financial aid for the 15-16 academic year, you should complete your FAFSA as soon as possible. It is always advised to complete your FAFSA using estimated income figures and update your FAFSA after you complete your taxes.
Linfield College has two school codes, please use both when submitting your FAFSA, they are 003198 and E00614 for the Portland Campus.
Please note – if your major is nursing, but are currently attending the McMinnville campus, all forms and communication should be directed to the McMinnville office of Financial Aid. If a PLUS loan is needed and you are attending the McMinnville campus, please use this PLUS Loan Request Form.
