NURS - 399 HEALTH PROMOTION CAMEROON I
An introduction to issues of health promotion in developing countries with specific reference to conditions in the Republic of Camerooon. Designed to prepare students for participation on the off-campus course in Cameroon. Topics covered include the history, culture, and politcal economy of Cameroon, the country's health environment, major health challenges and healthcare system, cultural beliefs about health and sickness, and logistical preparations for the trip.
