Festive fundraiser a great success at Vineyard Fair

A festive fundraiser and perfect summer day drew supporters of the Pamela Harris endowed nursing scholarship to the Vineyard Fair at Lawton Winery in Newberg, July 18. Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing alumni, students, friends and former and current faculty and staff gathered for the event, hosted by Harris, along with Robin and Keith Lawton.

Guests enjoyed live music, crafts and wine tasting, raising over $1,800 through individual contributions and from a portion of craft sales proceeds. “My intention is to grow the endowed scholarship so it will eventually support more than one student,” said Harris, dean emerita of Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing.
