Portland Campus alumni survey results

We asked… and you spoke! The response to the recent alumni program survey was impressive, with 169 responses. Portland Campus alumni clearly prefer class year gatherings and receptions to reconnect with old friends. Most of you want to attend events at restaurants or pubs, but close behind were hotels, gardens and parks.

Most of your schedules are too crazy to have a preferred day or time, but season didn’t matter. Overall, response trends held steady regardless of affinity to Good Sam or Linfield nursing or health science.

Answers to the question about envisioning an ideal event were inspired, and 62 percent shared your vision. Someone suggested an event that was “fun, affordable, not fancy, good food which includes chocolate.” Another recommendation was “an indoor/outdoor reception at a winery, with good food/wine, old friends and an inspiring speaker.” Several of you suggested family picnics, while others hoped to connect with fellow alumni as Linfield or community volunteers.
