Admissions

Linfield College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing is highly regarded for its 117-year tradition of excellence in nursing education and is accredited by the Oregon State Board of Nursing and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

Linfield College-Portland Campus is a transfer campus only. Students wishing to enter Linfield College as a first-year student can begin their college experience on our campus in McMinnville, Oregon.

We welcome applications for admission from students currently enrolled at other regionally accredited institutions. Completion of prior academic coursework will be evaluated for possible transfer credit to Linfield College. Prerequisite coursework can be in progress at the time of application, however, all work must be completed by the program start date. 

All students must apply directly to the Portland Campus for admission to the nursing or the health sciences majors.
