The primary responsibility for implementing accommodations falls on the shoulders of the student with disabilities. In other words, it is the student’s responsibility to contact Learning Support Services (LSS) to initiate the process.
Students who have a documented disability should apply to receive services within the first two weeks of the semester, or the first day of January term. Accommodations and academic adjustments will be determined based on the data within the student’s documentation report.
Appropriate documentation is encouraged; however, accommodations and academic adjustments will be provisionally provided for one semester only, allowing students time to obtain appropriate documentation.
