Employee of the Year for 2007

Linfield College Facilities Services Department "Employee of the Year" for 2003 has been awarded to Sam Jones.

Facilities Services Department has a team of dedicated, skilled, and quality oriented employees. At the end of each quarter, a Plant employee, nominated by a co-worker, will be honored as the "Employee of the Quarter". Winners receive a VERY convenient parking spot for the quarter and a gift certificate, among other goodies. At the end of each year, in February, the "Employee of the Year" will be announced from the year's previous quarterly winners.

Yearly winners will receive a permanent place on the Plant "Wall of Honor", to top off the other rewards.

Criteria for nomination include quality of work, quantity of work, work habits, safety record, independent action, relationships with the college community, and overall performance.

Nominations can be made by any Plant employee by filling out a nomination form and placing it in the designated box. Both are located in the time card area.
