Education:

PhD in philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin M.A. in philosophy, politics, and economics from the University of Oxford B.A. (Summa Cum Laude) in English literature and philosophy from Washington and Lee University.


Academic Interests:

Marvin Henberg has served as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty at Linfield since 1994. He holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. in philosophy, politics, and economics from the University of Oxford, and a B.A. (Summa Cum Laude) in English literature and philosophy from Washington and Lee University.

Henberg's research interests are in ethics, philosophy of law, and environmental philosophy. He is a member of the faculty in both philosophy and environmental studies.
