Fulbright Teaching Assistant 2010

Meet Wiebke Herrmann, our FLTA for 2010. Wiebke comes to us from Köln, via Halle. Here she is, on the right, meeting Topaz, our German mascot. Wiebke assists with tutoring, in classes, teaches the conversation practice courses, in involved in German Club, participates in German table, takes courses at Linfield, and is a wonderful young addition to our department this year.

In 2009/2010, Andreas Schwab from Innsbruck, Austria, was our Fulbright Teaching Assistant. Andreas was an energetic teacher who helped students in conversation groups, offered tutoring, was active in the German Club, taught MLGR 030, and hosted a variety of cultural events. Here is Andi, on the left, at our weekly German table, aka Stammtisch.
