This interactive online workshop is a webinar. Everything you need for success in winning scholarships is covered in the 4 hour Path to Scholarships webinar. Led by Gerardo Ochoa, Instructor, and Associate Director of Financial Aid, Linfield College, Portland campus. We will use WebEX virtual meeting software for the webinar. Sponsored by the Adult Degree Program, for current students, applicants to the Adult Degree Program and family members who are college-bound in 2013 and 2014. You will be mailed the "College Edition: Path to Scholarships Career, College, and Scholarship Planning Portfolio" to help you organize your successful search for scholarships. What to Expect at the webinar: *Complete a rough draft of a winning scholarship essay *Learn how to compile the necessary components of a scholarship application *Learn about getting organized *Learn how to get quality letters of recommendation *Learn about scholarship opportunities available to students One $500 scholarship for a student in the Adult Degree Program will be awarded to a participant during the webinar.
