Two students involved in an on-campus incident March 28 may face the Linfield Judicial Board as a result of damage done to the college.
On the first Saturday night of Spring Break, the students, as well as a McMinnville resident who was intoxicated, did doughnuts on the lawn next to Walker Hall in the north campus residential quad, Director of Campus Safety Mike Dressel said.
The driver of the pickup, who is not a student, was booked by the McMinnville Police Department, but action is pending in the city’s judicial process and no information can be released.
An incident report was filed by campus safety and given to Residence Life in regard to any action taken involving the students, Dressel said.
Dean of Students Dave Hansen said the names of the students could not be released to the Review.
In a case such as this, the students have two options: either admit they are responsible and meet with an administrator in the dean’s office, or take the case to the college judicial board.
Hansen said he is unsure if the students will be tried by the judicial board in this case, but is sure the students will be asked if they are responsible.
