Linfield student receives national scholarship for work with dogs

Zachary Gulaboff-Davis ’14 and his 11-year-old rescued Pembroke Welsh corgi have received the most American Kennel Club titles of any junior handler or dog team in the U.S.

While most competitors get their pets as puppies, Gulaboff-Davis adopted both of his dogs well into their adulthood. His corgi was almost four, and his collie was two, which makes their training to championships all the more remarkable.

Gulaboff-Davis was one of 27 students nationwide to win a 2011 scholarship from the club.
