Linfield choir to launch spring break tour

Linfield College alumni and friends in Washington have the opportunity to hear the Linfield Concert Choir perform during its annual spring break tour.

The choir, under the direction of Anna Song, assistant professor of music and choir director, will perform motets by Rheinberger and Victoria, “Let Thy Hand Be Strengthened” by G. F. Handel, “Snow: The King’s Trumpeter” by John Muehleisen, “Mass in G minor” by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and spirituals and multicultural songs.

• Saturday, March 20: 7:30 p.m., guest choir, part of “Song Share 2010: The Music of Ralph Vaughan Williams,” Orcas Island Community Church, 176 Madrona Street, Eastsound, 360-376-6422, $10 admission
