Artwork by Linfield College students will be on display during the Juried Student Exhibition, Dec. 1- 18, at the Fine Art Gallery in the James F. Miller Fine Arts Center. An opening reception will be held Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m. in the gallery.
Organizers anticipate a variety of student art including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and electronic media. All Linfield students were invited to submit a maximum of three pieces to be judged.
The work will be judged by Nils Lou, Linfield professor of ceramics and sculptures; Victoria McGillin, professor of psychology and secretary of the Yamhill County Cultural Coalition; and Brian Winkenweder, associate professor of art history, and chair of the Department of Art and Visual Culture.
The Linfield exhibit is free and open to the public. The Linfield Fine Art Gallery is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. To reach the gallery, from 99W in south McMinnville, turn east on Keck Drive at the McMinnville Market Center and turn right into the first parking lot.
