Hopp earns Indiana University alumni award

Susan HoppSusan Hopp, Linfield College vice president of student affairs and athletics, earned the Elizabeth A. Greenleaf Distinguished Alumni Award from Indiana University. The award is presented annually to the graduate of the master’s degree program in Higher Education and Student Affairs who exemplifies “the sincere commitment, professional leadership and personal warmth” of Betty Greenleaf, for whom the award is named. Hopp served as an intern for Greenleaf as a student in the IU master’s program.

At Linfield since 2010, Hopp is responsible for all areas of student affairs and athletics for both the McMinnville and Portland campuses. She previously served as dean of students at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Stetson University, a master’s degree in education from Indiana University, and has completed doctoral coursework in the public administration and policy program at the Hatfield School of Government, Portland State University.
