Each year Lepp takes Linfield students to Africa to participate in the Open Arms International program, which supports orphaned children. Many are homeless and living in landfills, scrounging for food on a daily basis, and many have lost both parents to AIDs.
The Open Arms project is building a village for children where they are provided with something rare in the slums of Kenya: clean water, medical care, a place to play and stability. The project also provides food from farms children themselves tend.
