Dr. Laird-Magee has taught at the Pamplin School of Business at the University of Portland, the MBA program at George Fox University and Saint Martin’s University in Washington State. Her international experience includes teaching international marketing at Wuhan University of Technology in Wuhan, China, and marketing in the MBA program at the Beijing Campus of the City University of Seattle.
Laird-Magee has broad experience in technology, software and financial services. She led marketing teams as the director of marketing at Corrigo, Cadence Design Systems and Telismart.com, and developed and executed marketing strategies at Mentor Graphics and Digimarc Corporation. Laird-Magee also served as vice president and Internet channel manager for U.S. Bancorp when the bank launched its first online banking product, and as vice president and segment manager for the First Interstate Bancorp/Wells Fargo.
Laird-Magee has also coordinated communications and public relations initiatives for Standard Insurance Company, Key Bank of Alaska, First National Bank of Alaska and the Anchorage Convention and Visitors’ Bureau.
