Education Professor Nancy Drickey serves as an associate dean of faculty at Linfield College. She conducts research on K-12 mathematics curriculum and evaluation standards, comparisons of math education in Oregon and other states and countries, and technologies for math education instruction.
Dr. Drickey was a consultant for the National Study of K-12 Mathematics and Science Education in the United States; the Western Institute for Research and Evaluation; and a variety of math education testing services. She helped disseminate evaluation standards as assistant editor of the American Journal of Evaluation and served as a reviewer on the Expert Panel on Mathematics and Science Education for the U.S. Department of Education.
She serves on the board of the Oregon Council of Teachers of Math, was co-president of TOTOM (Teachers of Teachers of Mathematics), taught mathematics and computer science in middle and high schools, and developed instructional materials for the Utah State Office of Education.
She also participated in a Fulbright-funded Teacher Education Administrators Seminar in India, and conducted research in Japan and China to investigate mathematics education, standards and teaching methods.
