Economics Professor Randy Grant co-authored The Economics of Intercollegiate Sports, a book that addresses the rising costs of collegiate sports, the tension between academics and sports, links between athletic success and enrollment/donations, recruiting, NCAA governance and finances, the labor market for coaches, the role of the media, and reform of college sports. Other topics include race and gender discrimination and Title IX.
Dr. Grant also co-authored The Evolution of Economic Thought. He teaches economics at Linfield College, where he is department chair.
