Class of 2011 looks ahead

Now that he’s picked up his diploma, finance and religious studies student Timothy Wagar ’11 will head to law school at the University of Washington.

Here’s what some Linfield grads are doing next …

Timothy Andrew Wagar
Major: Finance
Minor: Religious Studies

Plans: “I am going to be attending the School of Law at the University of Washington this fall to begin a journey towards a career in law.”


Alessandra Karlin
Major: Theatre

Plans: “This coming fall I will be attending the theatre graduate program at the University of Montana in Missoula.”


Lauren Ross

Plans: “Due to Linfield’s focus on service learning and my involvement with Alternative Spring Break over the last four years, I hope to gain a position with AmeriCorps after graduation. The organization is reviewing my application for their National Civilian Community Corps. I hope to eventually work in non-profits or social services.”


Cole Bixenman
Major: Finance
Minor: Economics

Plans: “After graduation I hope to get a job as a financial professional somewhere in the Northwest. Linfield has provided a great four years for me, and hopefully the future has good things for me as well.”


Hilda Escalera
Major: Intercultural Communication and Spanish Studies

Plans: “I plan on working as an intern for the Multicultural Programs at Linfield College for the summer, and plan on eventually attending graduate school to earn my master’s in public policy.”
