You need a Linfield CatNet ID to use Interlibrary Loan.
Requests may also be submitted through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) links in databases provided by the following vendors: FirstSearch , EbscoHost and CSA.
Book and other loan requests: We may have what you need locally. Before submitting requests for books and other items, please look for them in Linfield's WorldCat catalog, which includes collections at Linfield, in the regional catalog Summit, and worldwide via WorldCat. A dropdown box allows you to search each catalog separately as well.
- You will be notified by email when your book request has arrived. You may pick up your book at the circulation desk during Library Hours. Items for DCE students will be mailed to your home address.
- Requests for loans may take up to 2 weeks to be delivered, so plan in advance.
- Please return all books to the Circulation Desk by the due date indicated on the book strap.
- You may request a renewal unless the lending library has stated otherwise.
- Fines are charged on overdue interlibrary loan items at $0.25 per day.
Article requests: Before submitting requests for articles, please check Periodicals@Linfield for titles of periodicals we own or are available full-text from one of our databases.
- You will be notified by email when your article arrives. Articles that are received electronically will be accessible through your ILL patron record.
- Articles that are received as photocopies will be mailed to your Linfield address or in the case of DCE students to your home address.
- Articles will be delivered to dockets for Portland Campus Students.
