Government Documents
The US government is the largest publisher of books, journals,
films, maps and databases in the world. Some of its publications are well known,
but most government documents go unnoticed and unused. That is unfortunate because
they are usually well-written, important sources of information which are an
excellent resource for student research papers. All Oregon and Federal government
documents which the Libraries receive are listed in the Libraries
online catalog. Many of the listings in the libraries online catalog have
direct links to web sources.
In addition, there are several electronic databases and search engines which
contain government documents. For more information about accessing government
documents
see a Librarian.

Oregon State Documents
Jereld R. Nicholson Library is also a core depository for Oregon State documents; we receive major significant documents produced by the state of Oregon. These documents provide a wealth of information about many aspects of the state including health, education and forestry. Oregon documents received by the Jereld R. Nicholson Library are listed in the Libraries online catalog. For more information see a Librarian.
