Access to Linfield Libraries' Resources & Delivery of Library Material
Access to all Linfield Libraries' resources is available for all Linfield students, even if you live far from campus. Linfield's catalog, Wildcat, and the Orbis Cascade Alliance catalog, Summit, as well as the web references resources are accessible to anyone through the Linfield Libraries Homepage. To access Linfield's licensed databases (article databases and WorldCat), you will need to set up a Linfield College CatNet (e-mail/computer) account
- The CatNet account will give you a CatNet ID (login) and allow you to choose a password.
- WRITE IT DOWN, but if you forget it go to Forgot your password.

Delivery of Books and Articles from Linfield Libraries
If you have found books or journal articles at Linfield's Jereld R. Nicholson Library or books at our Portland campus, you may request that we send them to you. All document delivery from McMinnville campus is free. The only charge you pay is to ship books back to us. You may return Linfield (or Summit) books to our McMinnville or Portland libraries. Each site has a drop box.
- Books in WildCat may be ordered online using the blue request button on the book record page. Select items to be picked up at the McMinnville Circ Desk, Portland Circ Desk, or DCE via mail.
- Articles: Use Periodicals@Linfield to
determine if we own the journal or if you can get it full text online.
The WildCat record will tell you if we own the journal issue that contains
your article and whether the journal is at the McMinnville or Portland
campus.
- Articles in journals at the McMinnville campus may be ordered by contacting Carol McCulley with the citation information.
- Articles from journals at the Portland campus may be ordered through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
For ordering items through Summit, check Get Item.
