KSLC is a non-profit educational FM station at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. The station is entirely student-run.
KSLC, along with groups such as The Linfield Review, the annual literary magazine, and Wildcat Productions, is an ASLC organization, which means that we receive the majority of our funding from the Associated Students of Linfield College provided through students' annual activity fees.
Where are you located? KSLC broadcasts from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. Our studio, production facility, and offices are located in the basement of Renshaw Hall. You can hear the station in the McMinnville area at 90.3 FM.
Can I listen online? Yes! We are currently broadcasting online, simply click the "Listen Now" link at the top of this page.
Who can be a DJ on KSLC? DJ's are students at Linfield College, but it is open to members of the McMinnville community. DJ's are welcome to come aboard at any time!
Do DJ's get paid? All DJs work for KSLC on a completely volunteer basis. Credit is available for those who enroll in MSCM 012 or MSCM 112: Broadcast Practices.
Who is in charge of the station? KSLC is overseen by a faculty advisor, Assistant Professor of Mass Communication Michael Huntsberger. Ten students are employed as staff members.
