Clean Access Installation Information
ITS started implemention of the updated network authentication
and validation security system for Windows Operating System's in
the residence halls in February 2005. MAC Users
will only need to re-register on the network.

What this means for you:
Why did ITS do this? This is being done to help
protect your computer from virus, spyware, etc. attacks and
ensures
the network is available and safe for everyone to use. Non-updated
computers were vulnerable to the attack of viruses when they are
plugged into the network. This virus spreading also contributes
to the slow down of our network (that effects everyone) by monopolizing
available bandwidth and resources.
