Categories can help you organize your messages or quickly group/sort your messages to make them easier to find. You can assign categories to any email message, contact record, notes, or tasks.

1. Select/highlight the item you wish to categorize (email message, contact record, notes, or tasks). 2. Assign a category by:
3. That item will now be assigned that category.

To remove a category from an item: 1. Select the item.
OR if you have multiple categories assigned and you want to delete only one of them.

1. Go to Edit menu -> Categories-> Edit Categories. 2. A Categories dialog window will appear.

3. A new Untitled category will appear in the list. 4. Name the new category 5. Pick a color from the drop down list. |

1. Going up to the toolbar and clicking on the black drop down arrow next to Categories. 2. Choose Edit Categories. |

3. A Categories dialog window will appear. 4. Double Click the name of the category you want to edit.
5. Save changes by clicking anywhere else in the dialog box. 6. Close the window. |
