Clean Access Installation

1. Open any web browser on your computer (e.g. Internet Explorer or Firefox).

2. You should be redirected to a CatNet LAN Authentication web page -

  • Enter your CatNet ID and CatNet Password
  • Provider - choose LDAP
  • Click Log Me In button

3. A Network Security Window will appear -

  • Read the notice then click Download Clean Access Agent button

 

NOTE: If you have already downloaded and installed the Clean Access Agent, do not download again. Close the page and go to the Clean Access icon located in the task bar (right hand corner of your desktop) and right-click and choose Login.

4. A Security Warning window appears.

  • Click Run.

4A. In the Opening CCAAgen_Setup.exe window.

  • Click Save File.

5. In the next Security Warning window.

  • Click Run

        

6. Windows will ask you permission to open the file. Click OK

5A. In the Downloads window.

  • Click Open.

7. A User Account Control dialog box will appear -  

  •  
    • Type in the administrative username and password* you use to login TO YOUR computer. This allows you to download software.
    • Click OK button.

**NOTE: Administrative username and password should be the same as your CatNet ID  and password.**

8. Clean Access downloads and asks for your permission to continue -

  • Click Next button. 
  • Click Next button.
  • Click Install button.

9. Clean Access will begin to install, when complete click the Finish button.

10. You will need to Restart your computer.

11. After restart, you will see a Clean Access Agent icon on your desktop and in the Notification Area (bottom right corner of the desktop).
