In previous years, all gaming devices needed to be registered through the ITS Support Desk. Because of changes we made to our network infrastructure, gaming devices no longer need to be registered - they are now considered "Plug and Play"! In other words, connect your gaming device directly to a network (Ethernet) jack in your room and it should connect through our network automatically. There is no need to notify ITS.
*Please note, ITS highly recommends using gaming devices on the Linfield network with a wired ethernet connection. Our network is not configured for gaming devices to connect wirelessly, therefore performance may be affected. ITS will not provide support for wireless gaming issues. At this time, we also do not support Roku and Chromecast devices.
