2008-01-19 Alice Springs to Uluru
Today we drove from Alice Springs to Uluru, stopping in the beautiful Rainbow Valley (lovely rock formations and salt flats) and for a picture or two of Mt. Conner (bigger than Uluru, but not quite as famous).
Tonight we'll visit Uluru at sunset, to watch its many colors. Tomorrow morning we'll see it at sunrise, and then walk around it (about 6km).
The drive was long today, and the weather is hot, but all is well with the group.
Cheers,
Randy
