Journals from Year abroad in Quito, Ecuador
As far as classes go-they have been pretty good for the most part. Im taking: Advanced Grammar, Advanced Conversation, Social Problems of Ecuador, and International Relations all of which are in Spanish with the exception of International Relations. My favorite classes are Advanced Conversation, because the professor is amazing and she makes the class interesting, fun and interactive and Social Problems of Ecuador because the information we learn is very relevant about the actual situation in Ecuador. One thing that I really like about the academic system here is that it is very easy to add and drop classes. If a class is, too easy, hard, boring or for whatever reason you feel like switching to a different class you can easily do so. This enabled me to choose classes that I was more interested in after trying out others to see if I liked them or not.
