HHPA-398  Environmental Health Issues in Costa Rica

An introduction to biodiversity Costa Rica. Explores the crucial interdependence between humans and their environment. Examines efforts to protect and sustain the balance between human activity and the environment. Involves students in several service learning projects designed to protect and preserve the biodiversity of Costa Rican environments.

Prerequisite: Fall semester prior to JT'13 departure, students will be required to enroll and participate in the IDST 090 Global Issues Forum (1 credit).
