Study Abroad Information for Linfield Students
Academic Year Abroad
Linfield College requires foreign language majors to spend an academic year at a foreign institution. Together with the Modern Languages Department and the International Programs Office, students choose the site and the program that is best for them.
Selecting a Site
Some recent graduates have studied in Avignon, Nantes, Quebec, Munich, Freiburg, Valencia, Madrid and Guadalajara.
Program Costs
Fees for programs in foreign institutions are set by the individual institutions and must be paid by the student directly. Alternatively, the student pays tuition to and may receive financial aid from Linfield. The College subsidizes the round-trip airfare (up to $1200).
