JAN TERM TIMELINE (updated 5/29/09; subject to revision)

Please note all study abroad applications are available on-line, not in IPO.


December 2009– January 2010 Jan Term 2011 Announcements out. Apps available on-line:

Jan Term Fair--Feb. 16-17, 2010, Jonasson Hall, 2-4pm McMinnville Campus


-JT'09 apps DUE Friday, Feb. 19, 2010


-Monday, Feb. 22 IPO review of applications
-Tuesday, Feb. 23 Student Services review of applications
-Monday, March 1 Qualified applicants invited to sign-up for interviews on-line by Friday, March 5.
-March 8-17  Faculty/student interviews
-Friday, March 19  Decisions due from faculty (select, alternate, non-select)
-March 22-26 Acceptance letters sent out. If their course is still open, after spring break, faculty will have the opportunity to interview students who originally applied, but were not accepted to their first choice.
-Friday, April 9  2nd round decisions due from professors if applicable
-April 12-16  Accept, alt and non-select letters sent to 2nd round candidates
-April 30  $500 non-refundable deposit charged students' accounts
-May 1st  Faculty itineraries due
-May 31st    TWO Passport copies due in IPO, Melrose 025

October 1    Applications due in IPO, Melrose 025  Note: Freshmen apps due Feb. 19, 2010
October 2-5        Review by Student Services
October 6-29       Interviews for qualified students
October 30       Decisions due
November 2-6 Decision letters sent to students.
December 1        $500 non-refundable deposits charged to students' accounts

February 8, 2010  Passport copies due from fall applicants.
February 19, 2010        Freshmen applications due in IPO, Melrose 025
February  22-23  Student Services Review
February 24-March 4   Qualified students are interviewed
March 5        Decisions due
March 8        Letters out
March 12     $500 non-refundable deposits charged to students' accounts
March 12-13       Mandatory Orientation Weekend, Jonasson Hall
(Friday 4-6pm; Saturday 8:30 am-5pm)

April 30   Passport copies due from spring applicants.
