Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies--

Position Type: Teaching Campus: McMinnville Description:

Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies--Pending funding Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies with a geographical concentration in Africa. Ph.D. in hand or near completion. Native or near-native fluency in both French and English required.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be able to teach all levels of French language and must be prepared to teach courses in Francophone African studies to a non-specialized audience. Candidates are also expected to take a leading role in fine-tuning the Francophone Studies Major.  A demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching is required. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
