"Do I need an appointment?"
Yes, appointments are required.
Walk in patients will be accommodated
as time allows.
"How long from calling to get an appointment?"
Sometimes we can see you the same day, but usually you can be seen within 1-2 days. The exception would be your annual exam, they might need to be scheduled a week in advance.
"Do you prescribe Birth Control Pills?"
Yes, with your annual exams.
"Can I get My Prescription filled here?"
No, we do not have a pharmacy on campus. Nurse Practitioners write prescriptions, but they are filled off-campus.
"Can I get sample Medication?"
Sometimes, but we are limited to the amount of samples we get from the pharmacy representatives.
"Does it cost to be seen here?"
There is a $10.00 office access fee per visit payable at the time of your appointment. You can pay by cash/check or we can bill your Linfield student account.
"Can I get my physical done here?"
Yes, we do certain types of physicals. Sports physicals need to be done by your home provider or with a provider off campus
"Where do I get the information for my Linfield Insurance?"
Please contact the cashiers office for assistance with the school insurance plan.
"Can I get allergy shots here?"
No, but we will refer you to a clinic in town.
"Do you treat warts?"
Yes, please call to schedule an appointment.
"Do you check for STD's?"
Yes, we diagnose and treat the most commonly transmitted STD's. There is a charge for HIV tests.
"Do you contact my parent's insurance if I'm seen at the Student Health Center?"
If you have any lab work done it may be billed to your primary medical insurance. STD testing is still free of charge. HIV tests are $20.00.
