Meet the Delta Delta chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma, the first international sorority on Linfield’s campus. They pride themselves on being well-rounded, diverse, involved, and having fun. Phi Sigma Sigma was founded at Hunter College in New York on November 26, 1913, and was the first non-sectarian female fraternity accepting members of all faiths and backgrounds. It was founded here at Linfield in 1981. Phi Sigma Sigma is committed to inclusiveness, leadership, lifelong learning, sisterly bonds, and campus involvement. The sorority has created The Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation, an organization that supports both the National Kidney Foundation, which helps patients of kidney disease and organ transplants, and the Twin Ideals Fund, which was formed after 9/11, a fund to help disaster victims. Phi Sig’s know that Linfield is a great place to spend your undergraduate experience. They work hard to enhance every sister’s college experience to make the memories and bonds to last a lifetime.
