Pi Kappa Alpha has been active on the Linfield campus and McMinnville community since 1953. The fraternity has initiated thousands of men as brothers and members of the Delta Rho chapter. Members of Pi Kappa Alpha, known as "Pikes", are defined by their maturity and character, and are "Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen" through and through.
Pi Kappa Alpha strives to be active in the community as well as on campus. In addition to participating in school events such as Homecoming and Greek Week, sorority fundraisers, and social events, the fraternity also engages in community service projects and philanthropy events throughout the year. Pikes are special because they recognize the importance of bettering others as well as themselves.
What Pi Kappa Alpha can offer to the incoming freshman truly goes beyond words. The camaraderie, friendship, and brotherhood known to our brothers is something that needs to be experienced to understand. Still, becoming a member of Pi Kappa Alpha has its perks. The fraternity offers lifelong relationships and networking opportunities with brothers in all manner of careers. Through the Pike University program events, brothers can earn a letter of recommendation to any Fortune 500 companies they choose. Whatever interests you may have, there is a very good chance there is a brother that can help you in a very real way after college. This networking begins right away. Active brothers in the Delta Rho chapter can be found in nearly every major, including Business, Management, Accounting, Mathematics, Education, Computer Science/Programming, Philosophy, Political Science, and many more. The fraternity also offers scholarship assistance to its outstanding members. The brothers operate with the knowledge that only by maintaining a strong academic performance can Pike reach its full potential, and the support and assistance of all the brothers is guaranteed. In athletics, 60% of the brothers are varsity letter winners and the fraternity also competes in each intramural sport.
The newly remodeled fraternity complex boasts comfortable living space for 24 members - including three full kitchens, 5 bathrooms, and a 24-hour quiet study room. There is also on-site storage space and two lawns to enjoy when the weather is good. The house and annexes are monitored by 24-hour security cameras as well as floodlights on all sides. We have an extremely dedicated group of alumni to thank for this new house.
