2011-12 Linfield Student Scholarship Fund Report

Kyra Rickards ’14 has taken advantage of her Linfield experience. With an English literature major and minors in creative writing and visual culture, Kyra has embraced her liberal arts education. She is grateful to her professors whose classes and conversations have been influential on her academic and creative development. Outside of the classroom, Kyra has been involved with Greenfield, Global Action Club and Meditation Club. She knows that these experiences are possible because of gifts to Linfield.

“Linfield is a place where I feel at home. I love how I feel that I can truly excel academically here, as well as grow as a person. I've met so many amazing people over the past few years. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything. I'm so thankful for the scholarships that Linfield provides for me. Your gifts to the Linfield Student Scholarship Fund during 2011-12 provided significant financial support to students like Kyra. Funds provided from these gifts made scholarships available to 610 Linfield students on the McMinnville and Portland Campuses.
