“My favorite thing about Linfield is the community we have. Everyone, including professors and other staff members, truly cares about each other. The support I've received at Linfield is like no other.” – Mariah ‘14

A Public Health/Health Education major from Honolulu, Hawaii, Mariah ’14 is one of thousands of Linfield students touched by the generosity of donors. So far, Mariah has made the most of her Linfield experience by participating in Hawaiian Club and its annual Lu’au, serving on ASLC student senate and working for Institutional Advancement as a Phonathon caller.
The resources that have helped Mariah thrive while at Linfield – scholarships, creative and diverse faculty, a close-knit campus – have all been supported by alumni, parents, and friends who make gifts because they believe in The Power of a Small College.
“I'm thankful for donors who give to Linfield because they are passionate about what Linfield does and make me want to be the same. They are people who truly believe in our future as graduates and help us along the journey.”
Mariah has put her gratitude into action as a member of the Student Giving Committee. At on-campus events like Wildcat Windup and Tuition Free Day, she educates fellow students about the impact and importance of the generous gifts made by alumni, parents and friends of Linfield like you.
