What to do if you have the flu

Linfield College Portland Campus students are eligible to get free seasonal flu vaccine with Legacy Health Systems.  Legacy is still working on the dates and times for these vaccination clinics.  Information will be sent and posted on the website when clinic hours are officially set.  

Portland Campus seasonal flu immunization clinics

All Linfield College Portland Campus students, faculty and staff (with a valid Linfield ID) are eligible to get free seasonal flu vaccine with Legacy Health Systems.  Legacy is providing five vaccination clinics that are open to Legacy employees and Linfield students, faculty and staff. If you have severe illness or are at high risk for flu complications, please contact your health care provider or seek medical care.  Your health care provider will determine whether flu testing or treatment is needed.  Please contact Lisa Burch, Director of Student Services if you are diagnosed with seasonal flu or H1N1 flu from your health care provider. 

If you become ill and need to miss classes or clinicals immediately contact your professor(s) to let them know of your illness and to make a plan of action for your absence.
