Information for Current Students
Renewal of Financial Aid for 2008-2009
Step One:
After January 1, 2008, go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We recommend that you file the FAFSA no later than January 20, 2008. Linfield College's school code is 003198.
Step Two:
Log on to Web Advisor and complete the Linfield Application for Financial Aid. This form must be submitted no later than March 15, 2008. This form is required for all students. It serves as a notice for the Office of Financial Aid that you are returning for the 2008-2009 school year.
Step Three:
If you have not already completed a consent for release form or would like to update who we are able to speak with, please complete the Consent for Release of Information Form here. While this form does not have a deadline, it is very important that we receive it, as we cannot speak with anyone about your financial aid or student account unless you have designated them on this form.

Our office would like to remind you to check your campus mail and e-mail frequently, as we will be following up with reminders starting in January.
If you have any questions regarding the renewal process or run into any problems
filing your forms electronically please contact our office immediately.
Any delay in filing your forms by the priority filing dates listed above could
result in a reduction of your financial aid offer.
