Linfield life: Jeanine Ishii '03, fundraising meets the environment

Jeanine Ishii '03 developed her love for the environment at Linfield College.

As a Linfield biology student, Ishii served as president of Linfield Students for Environmental Awareness, and explored wetland prairies and shaded streams during multiple hands-on internships. She also learned the importance of fundraising to environmental efforts.

Now a fundraiser for Earthjustice, a nonprofit environmental law firm in San Francisco, Calif., Ishii's position is a perfect meld of her two interests - ecology and fundraising.

"Linfield was the best choice I could have made for college," she said. "I hope to remain active with Linfield for the rest of my life, no matter where I live."
