Computer and Phone Line Information

Student laptop computer Linfield residence halls and on-campus apartments have wireless and wired network access to the internet available to each student.  In addition, each room has telephone lines available.

Network connections will be active when you arrive. Information about how to connect to the network will be available from your Residence Life staff, by contacting the Integrated Technology Services staff during your first days on campus, or by visiting the ITS web site with specific information for new students and parents. Both wired and wireless connections are available. Phone lines in residence halls have been used less and less over the years, so phone lines will be inactive upon arrival. If you want an active phone line in your room you can contact the ITS department after you arrive and the line will be activated.

You will need to provide your own phone and/or computer hardware. Information on phone and computer hookup can be found at the support pages for technology services.
